A company dedicated to the manufacture of truck chassis imported the seats from China. They knew all the downsides that this entailed, such as large advance payments, long waiting times, and the risk of receiving bad quality products.
They were looking for an alternative that would allow them to buy in reduced quantities (On Demand), with a quality that could be continuously monitored.
In this project we worked first with the design and construction of the mold, we considered the technical requirements of the parts to be injected, the volumes required to define the life of the mold, the type of material to be injected, among other factors.
The second part of the project consisted of designing the production process, which would allow us to inject and deliver parts on demand in small quantities and with high quality.
This allowed the client to reduce the amount of capital necessary for its operation, and substantially improve its liquidity. In addition, it allowed them to have accurate and reliable quality monitoring, batch by batch.
Since then we have become their new seat supplier.
